Diwali is a festival of lights and is one of the major festivals celebrated by Hindus, Jains and Sikhs. Every year our whole school acknowledges Diwali as a community in one form or another. The many children who celebrate this special occasion as part of their own culture, always come to school and proudly share their love of this celebration with their peers.

The children from these cultures, sometimes perform songs and dances to share this celebration with the school. Other times they come together to share traditional sweets or food. 

Every year the children from the whole school are invited to go out into the grounds to decorate the courts with colourful chalk Rangoli designs.
