Our senior school kapa haka students had an outstanding performance at the Kaipātiki Kāhui Ako Matariki Festival in Term 3. The festival, hosted by Glenfield Intermediate School and held at Glenfield College, was a beautiful celebration of culture and community.
The day kicked off with a powerful pōwhiri, followed by performances from kapa haka groups across the Kāhui Ako. When it was our 70-strong group's turn, they took to the stage with confidence and pride. The students performed the school haka and four waiata with immense enthusiasm. The atmosphere was electric, with a huge turnout of parents and whānau cheering them on.
